Hello and welcome! I’m Meesh, an illustrator, avid bird watcher, and amateur naturalist based in Maryland. As a full-time artist, I run a monthly subscription club and an online shop, where I share my passion for birds and the natural world through my art.
My work is heavily inspired by my dove, Pearl, and fueled by a lifelong love of nature and fantasy stories from my childhood, such as The Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings, Redwall, and The Tales of Beatrix Potter (to name a few). Through my bird art, I aim to reflect a light-hearted, cheerful silliness that doesn’t take itself seriously, heheh.
Although my main body of work is made digitally using an old Wacom tablet and Clip Studio Paint, I am also experienced with traditional and fiber arts. My preferred mediums are markers, colored pencils, watercolors, and wool felt.
Pearl is my 27-year-old albino ringneck dove! Due to his old age, he has developed arthritis and some other minor issues that keep him mostly grounded. This means he is with me during every part of my artistic process. His favorite things include millet, spelunking, toasting his feet, and loafing in the sun. He is very cute!

Due to the new General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) law, I am currently unable to ship physical orders to the EU and Northern Ireland. These regulations have introduced new compliance requirements, and as a result, I’ve had to temporarily pause shipments to these regions. I’m hopeful to resume shipping to these areas as soon as possible.
In the meantime, you can still place orders for untracked letter mail through my Ko-fi shop, where I offer select items.
Additionally, I am excited to be working on digital downloads as an alternative. Stay tuned for more updates, as this will give you access to my products without any shipping restrictions.
